MP Global will not claim to be a vertically integrated manufacturer. This older model is not part of our strategy. To be a success in North America, we believe you need to be flexible and smart. We make the components where we hae expertise and efficiencies – and partner with best suppliers for the rest. We feel our system is the successful model for the future of American manufacturing. We leverage our partners in Taiwan to provide the highest quality electronics at the most competitive cost. Molds may be built in China to keep investment low. We manufacture plastic parts in North America so that we can control the quality and keep logistic costs to a minimum. We assemble finished products in Mexico to keep labor costs down and ship essily to our customers in that market. Our customers get the very best solution: low cost content; high quality domestic final assembly; and in-region JIT product fulfillment.
